"Having Our Say," the film adaptation of the bestselling oral history I wrote of the centenarian Delany Sisters, is available right now on Crackle, a free, advertising-supported streaming service (like Netflix but with ads). The film is packed with stars from Ruby Dee and Diahann Carroll to Amy Madigan and Audra McDonald. If you watch, please consider giving the film a thumbs-up so that Crackle will leave it on longer. It would be great to see it up for a while, especially through Black History Month and Women's History Month. The movie was filmed mostly on location near Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1999.
